As I transition to a new position at a Sino-American university in China, I must quarantine for two weeks in a hotel and then two more weeks in my apartment. Great opportunity for solo training! This video demonstrates some solo pad drills for using the shuto uke as a way to clear limbs and strike the neck. Various follow up techniques are also explored.
