A few have asked me 'how hard do they go?' and the truth is it varies between opponents.  In my 30 some tried to knock me out, some were a bit wary and some just kept sweeping me over.  I remember telling myself to "just keep attacking" and that helped a lot.  I was 22 and with the recklessness of youth wanted to 'take on' every opponent.  Goran Powell's book 'Waking Dragons' details his 30 and is an excellent read.

100 will be tough, very tough.  A look at the list of Kyokushin 'greats' who have tried and failed is a real eye opener.  They used to say that winning a tournament took fitness, skill and a bit of luck, while doing the fight tests was all about grit.  Fit people have failed, skillful people have failed.  Luck doesn't come into it.

Follow up:-

A local journalist has aked him if he intends to make this an ANNUAL event ...

A friend of mine asked him what was harder, this or doorwork (Wullie's an accomplished doorman) and the answer was a very straightforward "Well, there's nae elbows or bottles but this was MUCH harder"

(Personally I don't fancy either but that's just me)
