On Saturday the 20th of April 2024, Iain Abernethy and Leigh Simms will be teaching a joint seminar! The theme will be “Old School Karate from a Modern Perspective”! The seminar will explore the differences between “old” and “new” karate with specific reference to fighting philosophies, kata applications, legal & social considerations, and attribute training. The seminar will run from midday to 4pm and will take place at (NOTE: NEW VENUE) Walker Memorial Hall, 18 Ampton Rd, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B15 2UJ.
