Tekki Shodan pad drill

https://youtube.com/shorts/SgmfmmIu0eU

A simple pad drill inspired by the first movements of the Tekki / Naihanchi Shodan kata. The gedan barai deserves a special note: in the Japanese language the verb 払う/ harau means "to brush off", "to wipe away", "to clear away", "to dust off", and by extension "get out of the way". In the drill the gedan barai is used precisely to remove a limb of our opponent which prevented us from landing the elbow strike. I hope you enjoy the video
