I thought I would share with you how my club uses the Cooper's Color Code and how it is taught in relation to personal self-protection.
There is a lot of points made in the video which can obviously be studied in depth in their own right, but this is an outline of the basic concepts.
Hopefully this can be a starting point to see how others onthe forum cover threat awareness and what adaptions to the Cooper's Color Code or what other models are being used!
PS. One point I would make is that during the section on Code Orange, I mention what I call "zone or zoning in". If you are not familiar with this, then think of it as the Observe and Orientation aspects of the OODA loop model in relation to a specifc threat.
