I was just made aware of Krav Maga studio in my area that was conducting night and low level light training for their students. I guess the idea is that they sleep over or get up in the middle of the night like 3am and starting training. I noticed they were also outside in the night and in the freezing cold ( I live in Canada!) I thought this was pretty cool and I have always admired the way Krav Maga students train because from what I can tell they cover all aspects of self protection in good detail. I know this particular group does de-escalation, mutliple opponents, surprise attacks, weapon stuff! So I might jump in on a couple of class's to get some training ideas.
It seems to me the Krav Maga system has done a great job maintaining good self protection training and principles. At least the schools I've heard of and I thought I saw someone else on this forum mentioning how they like their approach andf thought it realistic. Anyway always willing to learn.
Krav Maga Training philsophy. Does any of this sound familiar ?

Training can also cover situational awareness to develop an understanding of one's surroundings, learning to understand the psychology of a street confrontation, and identifying potential threats before an attack occurs. It may also cover ways to deal with physical and verbal methods to avoid violence whenever possible.
