On Sunday the 21st of February 2016, I’ll be teaching an open course on kata bunkai / practical karate in Folkstone! The course will primarily cover kata-based grappling for self-defence. We will also look at bunkai for the kata Sushiho (prior knowledge of the kata is not needed and it is assumed that most present will be enjoying the bunkai of this kata for the first time). The course will be held in Pent Valley Leisure Centre, Tile Kiln Lane, Cheriton, Folkestone, Kent, CT19 4PB from midday to 4pm. The cost will be just £30 per person. NOTE: All places need booked in advance and there will be no on the door tickets.
