Strength

Very simple question..... What does strength and weakness mean to you?

Strength is the ability to enact our will. Weakness is the inability to do so.

Strength without wisdom, compassion and humility can be very destructive to both the individual and their community.

Wisdom, compassion and humility benefit no one if the strength needed to shape the world is lacking.

All the best,

Iain

Hi Finley,

My dojo motto should describe clearly (I hope)

"Strong and caring people are the pillars of the society and Karate helps cultivete them"

Strong people, mentally or physically can take action to change the world for better, so it is an essenctial quality of a human being.

Kind regards

Good question. For me, strength is the ability recognise ways to change things about ourselves that we're not entirely happy with. Weakness is our inability to recognise opportunity for self improvement.
